We challenge you to take some time if you've ever debated on joining the OFD or wondered what exactly joining the Department entails to stop by our Open House! Our yearly Open House & Recruitment Drive is held in conjunction with the Firefighter's Association of the State of New York's Recruitment New York Initiative. This weekend yearly is promoted specifically for volunteer fire departments to open their doors and promote what it is exactly we do, and why you should join! Many more opportunities are available and await potential members, if the thought has ever crossed your mind come and talk to us!
